Project Overview
I'd known Alex since school and first got in touch when he launched his online coaching business. A few months later, he came back to me with a slightly more urgent request: he needed a website, and ideally, he needed it within a week.
His coaching business was still relatively new at the time, with social media doing most of the heavy lifting. The website needed to give Alex a proper home for the brand, somewhere to explain his coaching, show real client results and turn interest into enquiries without relying entirely on Instagram.
So, with a week to play with, I got to work.
My Approach
Alex already had a good idea of the style he wanted and showed me another website he'd taken inspiration from. From there, it was about taking that direction and making it completely his own.
The dark colour palette, bold typography, strong photography and movement throughout the site fit naturally with the Alex Jarvis Physiques brand. I also used SquareKicker to push the design further than a standard Squarespace build, adding extra movement and detail without making the website harder to use.
Since launch, the website has attracted more than 4,000 visitors, while Alex Jarvis Physiques itself has grown massively. Our work together didn't end with the website either; I've since helped Alex with promotional videos, graphics and even a banner at Shooterz as the brand has continued to develop.
