Project Overview
Topline Design & Build was already an established family-run construction business with more than 30 years of experience behind it. The problem was, online, you'd struggle to know they existed.
I got to know Bruce while working on the Shooterz website, and our conversations soon turned to Topline. At the time, the business had no website or social media presence, despite offering everything from new builds and extensions to landscaping, brickwork and property improvements.
The website became the first step in changing that, giving Topline a place to showcase its work, explain what it offers, and start building the online presence the business had been missing.
My Approach
This was my first website in the construction sector, so getting to know the business properly was important. Having already built a good relationship with Bruce made that easy; we could talk through what Topline did, the type of work they wanted more of and what potential customers would need to see before getting in touch.
The finished site keeps things straightforward. Services are easy to find, previous projects do plenty of the talking, and clear enquiry points make it simple for somebody to take the next step. Behind it all, I built the site with local search in mind, giving Topline a much stronger foundation for being found across Leicestershire.
Since then, Topline has expanded its online presence onto Facebook and Instagram too, but the website was where it started, taking a business with decades of real-world experience and finally giving it a proper home online.
