Introducing CH Exhibitions.
Client: CH Exhibitions
Sector: Events & Exhibitions
Project Overview
CH Exhibitions came to me looking for a brand-new website to give the business its own proper presence online. Before this, there wasn't a website at all, with most of the online presence coming through Carter's own LinkedIn profile.
The main goal was to create somewhere that could showcase the exhibition services Carter offers, while giving potential clients an easy way to see examples of previous work and get in touch. With exhibitions being such a visual industry, showing off the finished projects was always going to be an important part of the website.
Carter already had his logo and plenty of photos from previous exhibitions, along with a few examples of other websites in the industry that he liked. From there, I had everything I needed to put together something clean, professional and suited to the type of clients CH Exhibitions wanted to attract.
It was another completely new sector for me too, which is something I've come to really enjoy. Every new industry gives me something different to work with, and CH Exhibitions gave me the chance to create a website where the work itself could really take centre stage.
My Approach
With no previous website to work from, I started with a blank canvas and built the design around the CH Exhibitions branding and Carter's previous project photography. The aim was to keep things clean and professional while making sure prospective clients could quickly understand what CH Exhibitions offers and, importantly, see the quality of work already completed.
This was also one of those projects that showed a website doesn't need endless meetings to get over the line. Carter and I handled everything through WhatsApp, sharing ideas, progress and amendments as the build went along until we had a finished website we were both happy with.
