Introducing Pride in Coalville.

Client: Pride in Coalville

Sector: Non-profit

Project Overview

Pride in Coalville already had a Squarespace website, but the organisation wanted to take it to the next level. While the foundations were there, information wasn't always easy to find, the structure needed refining, and the overall experience didn't fully reflect the professionalism of the organisation behind it.

The website needed to better support volunteers, performers, stallholders, partners, and visitors, while creating a clearer, more consistent experience across the site.

My Approach

The focus was on improving the experience from top to bottom.

Rather than starting again, I built on the existing foundations and refined the site's structure, navigation, and presentation. Information was reorganised to make it easier for visitors to find what they needed, whether they were looking to volunteer, join the committee, become a performer, or support the event as a partner.

The design was also tidied up throughout, creating a more consistent look and feel from the hero section through to the footer. Layouts were simplified, content was refined, and unnecessary friction was removed to make the site easier to navigate and manage.

Alongside the structural improvements, the site was reviewed with search visibility and usability in mind, helping Pride in Coalville continue to reach and support more people across the local community.

The result is a cleaner, more professional website that better reflects the organisation and makes it easier for people to get involved.
