Project Overview
TS Construction & Landscaping came to me through a referral from Harrison Hair, although Tom and I had been speaking for some time before the project eventually got underway. Having seen some of the other trade and construction websites I'd built, Tom was ready to give his own business a stronger online presence to match the reputation it had already established locally.
Unlike many of my projects, the starting point wasn't a business struggling to be found. TS Construction & Landscaping was already performing extremely well in local Google searches. The website was about building on that position, creating a professional, search-friendly home for the business that could showcase its services and previous work, support its existing visibility and turn more of those searches into genuine enquiries.
My Approach
Tom gave me plenty of creative freedom with the build, so I focused on creating something clean, modern and straightforward to navigate. I used the lighter colours from the existing branding throughout the design, giving the website its own identity while keeping the focus on the work TS Construction & Landscaping delivers. Project imagery, services, reviews and clear routes to get in touch all play an important role without making the site feel overloaded.
SEO was a priority throughout. Rather than trying to reinvent what was already working for the business, the website was built to complement Tom's strong Google presence and give searchers somewhere credible to land once they'd found him. Communication throughout the build was kept simple through WhatsApp, with only a handful of changes needed towards the end before everything was ready to go live.
